LIGHTENED SPEED SIX FLYWHEEL, PART NO RP023
Raceproved Speed Six Superlight Steel billet flywheels have been developed to increase engine performance. Horse power which would normally be absorbed by a heavy standard cast iron flywheel is now freed-up, and goes straight to the wheels. Extensive dyno testing has proven acceleration gains of 14 bhp over standard. A 39% weight reduction is achieved by using chromium molybendum steel instead of factory standard cast iron. Chromoly steel has fantastic tensile strength compared with iron, and therefore the flywheel is designed using much less material. Once machined, the flywheels are nitrided for durability, and to reduce wear from AP clutch butterfly spring contact. The starter ring gear is incorporated into the billet to produce an elegant one-piece flywheel. The gear tooth profile of our flywheels is bespoke, and has been optimised for the Speed Six. Our flywheels are made without compromise to the highest quality, giving your car a crisper throttle response and keen acceleration, whilst still retaining the smooth idle and superb driveability.

PRO-TECH SHOCKS 600 SERIES are made from 52 M/M diameter 6262 specification aluminium with adjustable spring seat platform for 2 ¼" I.D. springs. The 600 SERIES has independent bump and rebound adjustment, this allowed valving changes to be made at all shaft velocities without effecting the other valving adjustments. These shocks will give you the advantage over the competition at which a tyre is loaded or unloaded during dynamic weight transfer. Dynamic weight transfer is the transferring of weight from side to side during cornering, from rear to front during deceleration and from front to rear during acceleration. By changing the stiffness of the shock's independently on the racecar, we are adjusting the loadings on the tyres at different points on the racetrack, if done correctly good handling will result in getting you to the chequered flag first!
