BASALT WOOL SILENCER PACKING: PART NO MS015
Basalt wool is used in re-packable silencers and withstands higher temperatures than ordinary wool. It is important that the perforated tube that runs through the silencer can is wrapped in stainless steel wire wool (see part MS007) to prevent the loss of fibres through the exhaust.
