LIGHTENED AJP V8 FLYWHEEL, PART NO RP024
Raceproved AJP V8 Superlight Steel billet flywheels have been developed to increase engine performance. Horse power which would normally be absorbed by a heavy standard cast iron flywheel is now freed-up, and goes straight to the wheels. Extensive dyno testing has proven acceleration gains of 10 bhp over standard. A 34% weight reduction is achieved by using chromium molybendum steel instead of factory standard cast iron. Chromoly steel has fantastic tensile strength compared with iron, and therefore the flywheel is designed using much less material. Once machined, the flywheels are nitrided for durability, and to reduce wear from AP clutch butterfly spring contact. The starter ring gear is incorporated into the billet to give an elegant one-piece flywheel. The gear tooth profile of our flywheels is bespoke, and has been optimised for the Cerberas Tilton starter. This has been proven to improve many of the problems associated with the standard ring gear, and should enhance the lifespan of your starter motor. Our flywheels are made without compromise to the highest quality, giving your car a crisper throttle response and keen acceleration, whilst still retaining the smooth idle and superb driveability.

It includes an all new designed diaphragm spring, made specifically for this clutch using F1 technology and materials. The release bearing contact points on the fingers are rolled, enlarged and induction hardened, and all the known failure points have been eliminated. The friction surfaces on the clutch plates are also bespoke and have been designed to dissipate heat quickly to resist fade and maintain performance.Two units are available which offer the driver the option of either a standard or high performance torque capacity, which is biased towards track day use. RACEPROVED AJP / SPEED SIX CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER, ALL ALLOY. PART NO. RP012
All new clutch slave cylinder to fit cars with TVR's own engine and all current models, includes special cushioned release bearing for increased clutch life. Made from aircraft grade light alloy, weighing only 550grams it is 1.1KG lighter than the stainless steel original, and incorporates a double seal arrangement to guarantee concentricity. All seal surfaces are micropolished and PTFE coated for low drag actuation. Comes supplied fully assembled with seals, new stainless steel fitting bolts and instructions. Some early cars have the older style longer slave,if your car is pre 1998 please contact us, the assembled height is 55mm.
